Summer is HERE! I’m partnering with the Blogging Mamas Network on their latest Event to help you Keep Cool in the Sun!
We’ve come together with a great group of bloggers who have a ton of prizes to help celebrate the Summer season and give you the chance to win!
I am a huge coffee drinker, and even better, I’m trying to lose weight again. Just a little bit, not too much! With Vita Cost you can find affordable vitamins, coffee, healthy products that are sure to keep you healthy. I was lucky to receive the Kona Coffee Gourmet Blend and the Reserveage Green Coffee Bean Extract with Raspberry Ketones. Not only do the products look beautiful, they leave amazing results and are tasty too!
My husband was the first one to try the coffee and although I was second I didn’t care, it was delicious. Fresh smelling coffee and tasty especially with a little bit of creamer poured into it. Mix it up, you have a flavor filled cup of coffee. The nice thing about the Kona Coffee is that it has beans direct from the Parry Estate, Kona’s Largest Coffee Plantation. How much fresher than that can you get?! The coffee has a middle ground flavor. Not too strong, not too weak, but enough to leave you satisfied or possibly seeking a couple more cups. It was very pleasant to drink and didn’t leave a bad taste on the back of my tongue.
As for the Green Coffee Bean Extract, I started using it a week and a half ago and used it for a week straight. The pills are easy to swallow and afterwards I managed to taste a little bit of a green coffee taste, nothing too horrible as it was quite a pleasant taste. I followed the directions and took one twice a day. One before breakfast and one either before lunch or dinner. I weighed myself that Monday, followed the directions and methods for at least five days as well as counting my calories. The minute Friday hit, I jumped on the scale and weighed myself. Three pounds dropped! Let’s just say that was the easiest and simplest ways to lose a few pounds successful and it wasn’t a pain. Just remember to take the pills and you’re golden. I have heard that the raspberry ketone sometimes doesn’t work or that it may be fake. Well, I’m here to say that I tried it for less than a week and I lost a few pounds. Imagine if I used it for a month, or two months at that? To make it even better, I did not work out at all. Other than chasing my toddler around and watching some of the things I ate, I wasn’t incredibly active.
I would recommend Vitacost and their products, especially the ones I reviewed, for everyone. They are friendly, and their products are inexpensive and definitely work. At least I know these ones were excellent products!
The Kona Coffee, for 2 (10 oz) bags are normally marked at $19.99, Vitacost’s price is $13.98. The Green Coffee Bean Extract bottle of 60 pills are normally priced at $34.99 and can be purchased at Vita Cost for $25.99. You can save a lot of money with these guys, if you don’t believe me, check out their shop for yourself!

Hello, Has a winner been chosen for this giveaway yet? Thanks.

I usually just like 1 point per entry — it keeps things simple. If there are several Facebook or Twitter pages to follow, sometimes it is easier to go to a page where they are all lined out, and then go back to receive the group entries. I like what you currently have going!

Samantha G. says
I like the simple entries but I also don’t mind some Twitter and Facebook follows. I don’t care for the 10 lists of 25 Facebook likes. It clogs up my feed.
Samantha G. says
I’d get some Earth Friendly lemongrass detergent to wash all of our swim clothes!
Pixel Berry Pie says
I’d like to try their GF apple breakfast bars!

I don’t really care which way the points work everyone that enters gets the same amount of points for each entry and that’s what matters. Both ways have their ups and downs.

Cuddlesome Bear says
I would get some sun tan lotion. That way I could go to the pool with the kids and stay out all day! 🙂
Racquel S says
I love giveaways but don’t always like having to “like” a ton of new FB pages.
Bryan E. says
Entry Question: I think the entries should be weighted i.e. if you post, forward, etc., extra points. That being said, too many “hoops” to jump through are a distraction, and personally my wife & I avoid blogs that require too much.
Bryan E. says
Prince of Peace Organic Oolong Tea , to make iced tea !
colleen t says
I would get some coconut milk and use it as an ingredient when making ice cream.
colleen t says
I like when each person receives 1 entry and that’s it. I don’t use pinterest and I know many people that don’t use twitter. I think when people are able to get hundreds of entries then it’s way out of control.
Thomas Murphy says
I like simple one point entries and I don’t like to have to follow to many people on twitter because you can only follow a certain amount.
Thomas Murphy says
I would get Vitacoco Coconut Water
Stacy says
I hate when entries are inflated. I don’t mind a few bonus points for something like tweeting or following, but when each entry is 100 points that is ridiculous! I don’t like any more than 5 points per entry.
Stacy says
I would get some Sparklehearts Yummy 100% Natural Deodorant — 1.7 oz
Michelle Tucker says
I think that as long as everything is somewhat equal on entries then whichever (1 pt or 25pts) is fine.
Michelle Tucker says
I’d get the Alba Botanica™ Very Emollient Sunblock Facial SPF 30 .
Elena says
I would get some coconut oil
Amanda Sakovitz says
I like for entries to be more than one point. Some of them take a greater effort than others. I stay away from huge multi-blogger contests that wants you to do a million and one things. I rarely do the follow multiple bloggers on twitter only because I’m always maxed out with my follows.
Amanda Sakovitz says
I would buy sunscreen
Sheree says
I like 1 point entries.
Sheree says
I like to swim to stay cool
Sharold says

Sharold says
A few follows are not bad but when you have to follow 10 twitter feeds and they don’t folloe back that is not fun.

Kathleen says
I would get coconut water!
Linda Kish says
One point per entry is fine. I don’t see a need for inflated points. I don’t care for the daily tweet entries. I think one should suffice. I don’t do most of the things for extra points but I guess others must have more time than I.
Linda Kish says
I use ceiling fans mostly to stay cool and when I can’t stand it, I turn on the A/C.
brandi hawn says
i like it when the entries count for one point instead of a lot. i hate having to like and follow ppl on fb and twitter b/c i have been maxed out for months on those sites so i’m not able to claim many entries since i can’t follow anyone else 🙁
brandi hawn says
i would get some coconut oil, i’ve heard many good things about it and have never tried it 🙂
Deb C says
I don’t mind a few simple entries but not the inflated type, especially when it involves multiple blogs.
Deb C says
I would get Wisdom Natural SweetLeaf® Sweet Drops™ Sweetener Valencia Orange to make iced tea and ice water taste cool and delicious.
hannah says
I like one point entries. And I hate when they make you follow 50+ things for one entry, instead of splitting them all up. For one thing, you can get locked out of twitter or facebook by too many follows, likes, shares etc at once. Plus giveaways with so many entries don’t make me want to enter, as the chance of winning is so slim.
hannah says
I’d like the Seventh Generation Automatic Dishwashing Gel Lemon — 42 fl oz so I dont have to wash dishes, that keeps me cool!

In the comment section of your 2 Red Hens giveaway, I posted a fairly lengthy response to your question about the value of entries. My feeling is that if I put a lot of time and effort into an entry or if I’m publicly promoting your website, giveaway, and/or sponsor, the entry should be worth more than simply clicking “like” or “vote” or something like that. Same with subscribing–that’s a commitment, and I don’t do it lightly.
Thanks for asking. I hope you’ll do a blog post discussing your thoughts on the matter, along with the feedback from your readers.
Anne says
