No child is too young to learn. I’m excited to say I was allowed to review the Teach My Toddler Learning kit and the Teach My Preschool The Time kit. This is such an excellent kit for anyone who wants to have fun while teaching their toddler! At times it can be difficult or you may not be one hundred percent sure as to what to teach them. Teach My provides kits for the following age groups:
- Teach My Baby
- Teach My Toddler
- Teach My Preschool
My daughter is a little over two so the toddler kit is perfect for her. She loves to learn and knows some of her colors and shapes thanks to the books she has currently. This kit has truly helped her advance that knowledge and teach her even more.
The foam puzzles make it easy for my daughter to pull the letters, numbers, shapes and colors and put them back with no problem. If a certain piece doesn’t fit that well she gets frustrated but tries again until she gets it right. It’s very easy for her to use these and usually she plays with them for an hour or so a day. The instructions are straight forward and help you get started. My daughter is a little partial to the shapes and colors although I do work with her every day on different sets. Each set comes with a book, foam puzzle, poster and flash cards. Just twenty minutes a day and your child will be well on their way to learning and memorizing!Β The best part about the Toddler Kit is that the pieces come out so it’s easier for them to memorize when they have it in their hand. Plus I have so much more fun teaching her with this kit than reading a regular book to her.
The posters are a major asset to this kit, especially when she can take the letters and physically place them over their matching spot. She knows most of the animals on the poster so this helps her recognize the letter that goes with their name. Plus the foam pieces are thick enough to hold onto and aren’t easily ripped. She did manage to bend one but it bends right back into place.
Another set I received to review was the Teach My Preschooler: Time. Although my daughter is not old enough yet to truly understand time I figured why not start at least? The crayons are wipe-off so she can color all she wants and not ruin the boards. There are removable cards for the stand up board which tells time in digital format. The one with the clock hands is an awesome way to show your child how the clock works and what the large and small hands are. You can also write the digital time on the spot below. I also tried counting with the cards for the stand up board by switching the cards to numbers higher such as 1, 2, 3, then 4 and so on. My little one was entertained with the fact that she could wipe the crayon off and draw again. This is an awesome activity kit to teach your little one the time. I’m glad I have it when she hits preschool age!
