Need a place for everything so you can get everything in it’s place? Spectrum has the products for that! Spectrum specializes in organizing all the little things around your home. Simple products designed to function well so you can stay organized. I’m not kidding when I say our garage was a mess. We don’t have a storage shed and the kids are very outdoorsy and so our garage is a catch all! At least now we’ve conquered some of the storage by hanging mops and brooms from a Spectrum rack. Very easy to hang too.

We love Magformers especially Little C who likes to play with them on the refrigerator while I’m cooking dinner. Win-win for me!  We also have them on the front and garage doors and the kids will occupy themselves while waiting for the bus. Create anything you can imagine by using walls, combining, rolling, folding, pulling and transforming. Read how Miss C uses her imagination with Magformers then enter to win a set!

Our holiday tradition is that everyone takes part in making Christmas morning breakfast. My mother’s kitchen is really small and generally there are about 10-14 people in this kitchen trying to cook. It is a lot of fun.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is picking out a tree and decorating it as a family. πŸ™‚ We also donate to Toys For Tots each year and as the kids are getting older it is awesome to be able to start teaching them about giving.

We have each child pick an ornament every year. We like for the ornament to have some significance to represent the year. We write the date on the ornament and it is so nice to pull the ornaments every year when we decorate the tree..

With family so far away we don’t have too many traditions. We got to church Christmas Eve. Come home watch TV and have a lot of finger foods. Next morning, we open gifts, call family who are away and then I cook and invite whoever wants to come over to eat and share the day with us.

Our holiday traditions includes on Christmas Eve opening a gift (which is always pj’s), snacks, Christmas movies and going to bed to wait on Santa. Christmas morning we see what Santa brought and have a light breakfast. The morning is spent cooking and finishing up lunch dishes. Prayer, lunch, clean up and playing with out new toys takes up the afternoon.

We are empty nesters, so we don’t keep a lot of traditions that we used to.
We still go to church. Except now we either have Christmas here or by one of our children’s homes. We have 15 grandkids, so we give the older ones $50 a piece and the little one’s, we shop for, because they don’t understand the value of money – they do like to unwrap presents though!
The day after Christmas is our wedding anniversary. We go out and eat a fabulous dinner and sometimes take in a movie.
