We are a family of gamers. John and I have spent countless hours playing video games, card games and board games. Our closet is stocked with tons of two player games, but we have been looking for more group games for parties. When I was given the chance to review the Reverse Charades game I jumped at the chance.
We were beyond excited when the game came so we could share it at next date night out at a friends house. We often go play cards and board with friends and family for date nights so it’s always nice to have something new. We sat down, read the directions and realized how perfect this game is for our goofy friends and family. The rules are simple. Break into teams of three or more, then each team takes a turn acting out the clues for the other teams. There is no talking, like in regular charades, but you do get the use props if desired.
My family can be very animated so this was perfect for us. After a fun night of dinner and talking, I told them I had a new game and needed to review it, so we split into teams and off we went. Watching my family try to act out the same clues at the same time was hysterical. Even my youngest niece and son (both two) tried to get on the action, copying the over-the-top movements of the adults.
Reverse Charades is a great party game for groups of six or more. And with little set up and game pieces, it’s perfect for most group settings. I think my favorite part of the game is that there are add-on kits, which adds lots of replay ability. The add-on kits include fun themes too, like a Sports edition or Girls’ Night Out and there is a Junior edition for younger players.
If you like holding a family game night or want to provide a night of fun for your next group event, visit the Original Reverse Charades website or search their Where to Buy page for a location near you. You can follow them on Facebook and Twitter or watch the fun on their YouTube channel!
