The holidays may be winding down, but winter-themed entertainment is in full force. When school isn’t in session, my kids would be happiest if I left them alone with some form of electronic. However, this mama wants some instructional time, some together time and if it’s electronic, to at least be decent for them. If you want to start something, after your children clean their rooms, send each one into the others room and list what could have done better. THAT was a blast. So after that fiasco, I wanted us all to come back together for a family movie. Thanks to NCircle Entertainment, I knew there would be many options that we would all enjoy, and I felt comfortable with the kids seeing.

NCircle has so many great options that are not only holiday themed, but also educational and family friendly. Here are some wonderful options for children of all ages:
The Snowman: One crisp, winter morning, a young boy wakes up to find a thick blanket of snow has covered the ground as far as the eye can see. Filled with excitement, the boy decides to build a snowman using a tangerine for his nose, coal for his buttons and eyes, and tops him off with a hat and scarf. Later that night, at the stroke of midnight, the snowman comes to life! The young boy and the snowman embark on a magical adventure of discovery where the snowman explores the young boy’s world and in return he takes him flying to his home in the North Pole. Upon arriving at the North Pole, the two join a party as the guests of honor to a very particular person. Based on Raymond Briggs book, THE SNOWMAN is a family classic for generations to enjoy.
Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab: Twas The Night Before Liftoff: Unknown to the world, Thomas Edison built a secret lab where he invented a virtual version of himself and a steampunk robot named Von Bolt. Years later, Angie, a twelve-year-old science prodigy, discovers the lab. When an old friend of Edison’s visits the lab and asks the Secret Lab Kids to help him with an urgent, top-secret project, they have to follow him through a wormhole to get to his secret lab. Who could this mysterious friend be and what is this top secret project during the holiday season?

Cat in the Hat: Christmas Special: ‘Twas the day before Christmas and all through the yard the Cat in the Hat and his guests partied hard. When the party was over, and the guests all departed one poor baby reindeer was left broken-hearted! Can the Cat in the Hat, Sally, Nick and the Fish help make come true little Ralph’s Christmas wish? To be with his family, in far-off Freeze-Your-Knees. Will you help see him home?
Doozers: Giant Gingerbread House: The Pod Squad want to build a Doozer-sized Gingerbread House! However, to achieve such a large size Gingerbread House, it’s going to take some original construction to create. Can the Pod Squad do it? Then, Daisy Wheel wants to ice skate with the others, but she doesn’t know how. Together, the Pod Squad build her a custom Doo-Step Skating Dress that lets her glide across the ice in no time. Enjoy these adventures and six more focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math!
