Our family is always on the go. Camp, parks, museums, pools, the list goes on and on. I actually enjoy winter and the colder weather since that season is typically not as busy and the kids are in school. What do you do if your kids get sick while on the go? It’s no easy task dealing with three kids sick at once but we (somehow) always manage. My kids know if they come down with a sore throat, no matter how hot or where we are going, warm cherry Jell-O juice is my go to drink. My mom always gave that to me when I was little and yes, I know there are no medicinal properties to Jell-O but it’s my family’s ‘chicken soup’ if you will.

A few years ago when we moved out of state, I traveled between Indiana and Ohio often. Most of the time I was by myself with two kids and an almost five hour drive. I learned the first time to be prepared for everything from potty breaks to illness. Travelling long distances is a little different than being prepared when you’re at the grocery. At least you can quickly pick up what you left behind!
