It seems since Thanksgiving one person or another in our house has been sick. Previous to that our daughter had Hand-foot-and-mouth disease which is no fun. My husband was going to try everything possible to stay healthy, short of dousing himself with Lysol, before the big Christmas season approached at his store with all the germs floating around. He works so much and it’s nearly impossible for him to take off even if he does get sick. I decided to let him try Halo which is an oral antiseptic spray that protects against airborne germs. I figured anything we could do to prevent daddy from getting sick couldn’t hurt!
We received the berry and citrus flavors to try and the kids received grape. My husband took the citrus with him everyday to use. He said the citrus tasted like citrus (eye roll) and seemed to think it worked pretty well since he didn’t come down with the flu like a few people at work. He still got sick but nothing detrimental. (Ok, nothing detrimental to a mom!) My kids liked the grape but they thought it tickled going down so my daughter wouldn’t let me spray it after the first time. My son likes taking medicine (weirdo) and of course asked for more.
Read below for interesting facts directly from Halo!
· 75% of daycares, 33% of medical offices and 67% of airplanes have enough airborne viruses to infect someone in one hour
· On an average day, you take about 17,280 breaths – this wouldn’t be an issue if we didn’t spend 90% of our time indoors (in other words, there are over 17,000 opportunities a day to breathe in other people’s airborne germs)
· University Hospitals Case Medical Center Department of Pathology (Cleveland, OH) tested Halo against 11 strains of Whooping Cough (Bordetella pertussis), and Halo completely killed all 11 strains
· Halo Oral Antiseptic Spray is portable and perfect for travel (1 fl. oz. size adheres to TSA regulations for carry-on luggage or purse)
· HaloTM Children’s (for children aged two and up) is available in a great tasting grape flavor
· Adults have the option of Halo in berry and citrus flavors
· Halo is alcohol, dye and sugar-free
You can find Halo at your local CVS, Target, Walmart, and other drug stores. Suggested retail price is $12.99.
One TKDI reader will win an Adult Halo Antiseptic spray in berry or citrus! Open to US 18 and older. Ends 1/15. This is a simple comment entry! Just leave me a comment letting me know how often you get sick! If you would like to leave a second comment telling me your favorite platform to enter giveaways that would be your second entry! I’ll then go to Random.org and pick our winner! Easy Peasey.

I used to like rafflecopter, but now they seem to require detailed input of info and aren’t making it easier because we log in
as I noted earlier, my real preference is for single entry or very, very limited entry promotions.
betty says
I have allergies including tree, grass and weeds. The pollen count of the moment can wear me down and I can ‘catch’ what ever is being passed around. so between allergies and colds, I have issues probably 6 times a year.
I’m flexible and can enter via whatever platform works for you. My preference is informative reviews and single or extremely limited entry options.
i’ve had it with rafflecopter promotions with hundreds of entries. The worst is a promotion allowing 450 entries/person and then putting a time limit on entries so the software nags you that ‘entries are just too fast – slow down’, when the time limit is so large that you can handtype the info 3X. The time spent entering should not be ‘significant’
