Very easy to hang too.

My favorite holiday traditions are decorating the tree with my husband and daughter, and hanging the stockings on Christmas Eve! Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
I am Latina, so we celebrate Xmas eve and open our presents at midnight.
My son and I used to have traditions in our family, but we are making new ones. My dad and my sister passed away, my brother moved into my mother’s house and took over her home, car, money and refuses to let her see me or her only grandchild. My mom is 92 and is miserable, but refuses to tell anyone that she is being abused by her son. My son’s father left when our son was 14 months old so you don’t miss what you never had. I have been in and out of the hospital and am barely hanging on to our home, so my son has not had gifts under the tree for 3 years. He understands what is important and that Christmas is about more than toys. You asked for the truth, so that’s what I am giving you. We used to have wonderful holidays. We do have friends that we visit and we have each other. I hope everyone has a great holiday!
We go to Christmas Mass every year. I look forward to it.
I put together two to three puzzles with my family during the holidays. We talk about things that happened throughout the year and make plans for the next year.

We all decorate the tree together
I love to plan, cook, and serve holiday meals featuring several unique favorite dishes. We decorate a Christmas tree and the exterior of our house.
We love going to Christmas Eve Candle light Service at our church to celebrate Jesus’ birth and we even have birthday cake!
My family and I are just starting our own traditions. My mom passed away last year and everything we’ve ever done we did with her. Now that she’s gone,(which breaks our hearts) my husband and I decided that we need to make our own family traditions. So this will be the first year.
One thing we do do with our children is give them pajamas, slippers and a movie on Christmas Eve. We plan on doing more, but not sure yet! I am interested in reading comments though for some ideas. 🙂
When we were growing up after the late Christmas Eve mass or midnight mass we would come home and make fresh baked warm chocolate chip cookies for Santa. As we grew older we would continue to do this as it was a way for us to catch up with each other. (I am one of 7 siblings so there was always something to catch up on). Now we do this with our families.
We always spend the Holidays together as a family. It’s nice to share the season doing things together.
All whole family comes in. And on Christmas morning we all open presents and then have a big breakfast. And if Christmas is on Sunday we all go to church.
Our Holiday traditions include a family get together on Christmas , Christmas breakfast made by dad of baked french toast, a family game, and lots of love and laughter
We do Christmas Eve boxes filled with pjs, cocoa, snacks and Christmas movies, it’s been the way for a long time since I was a kid
A few traditions are I hang up my Christmas lights. The more lights I say the brighter the better. My sister, my nieces and I drive around to see all the houses with beautiful lights. Some houses are so done up with lights, its hard to see the house.Their electric bill must be huge. Lol! On Christmas we all go to my mom’s house for brunch and presents. I love Christmas and celebrating the birth of Christ. Thank you for the chance & the wonderful giveaway 😀
One of my traditions is making Santa cookies with my kids on Christmas eve. We decorate them then we watch Christmas movies!

We love having our Birth of Jesus story book advent. It’s tiny books that you read each night up until Christmas that tells the about the birth of Christ, then each one can be hung on the tree. We always look forward to it every year.
We always go to christmas eve service, and then we watch a holiday movie while drinking hot chocolate. My sister and I still wake up in the middle of the night to look in our stockings even though we are adults.
A Thanksgiving tradition my mother and I have is while she is cooking dinner we watch the Macys Thanksgiving Parade together. 🙂
My tradition is decorating my wheelchair with Christmas lights.
Always leave a half eaten mince pie and glass with little milk in and presents in the middle of room where Santa put them
We spend the morning at home so our daughter can open her presents. In the afternoon we visit family for lunch.
Our holiday traditons involve opening one gift on Christmas Eve, filling the stockings and the candy boots and putting out cookies for Santa.
We have the kids and grandkids over for Christmas dinner and open presents. We all just sit around and enjoy all of our kids and grandkids.
We always make cookies and set them out with milk for Santa, the kids love this! 🙂 Last year we started (and I plan on doing it every year now) making “reindeer food” and setting that outside as well. Christmas traditions are so much fun now that I have three little ones of my own!
All my kids are grown
One of my favorite holiday traditions is putting up the tree with my husband the day after Thanksgiving. We always put on some old 40’s and 50’s Christmas music, get the fireplace going, and then start decorating. I look forward to it every year!
Our Thanksgiving tradition is centered completely around family. We always have family from out of town to come in. Everyone helps cook and each person is asked what their favorite dish is or what special item they would like. Big meal, big blessing and big naps later in the day!
The kids always want to leave cookies and milk out for Santa. The thing that’s become a tradition though, is leaving carrots out for Rudolph 🙂 They wake up on Christmas morning and the first thing they look for is to see if the carrots are gone, lol 🙂
WE get presents for the kids in the family, the rest of the people we do a secret santa exchange drawing names on thanksgiving.
We attend the Children’s Christmas Eve Mass (dd is in the choir) and then eat dinner. Dd gets to open a present before she goes to bed. Christmas morning we open presents and eat breakfast and then start visiting family. We usually eat lunch with my family and dinner with hubby’s family.
We always open presents and have a big Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. During Thanksgiving, we usually spend time with our family at Thanksgiving Dinner. This year though, we’re volunteering to help feed the homeless – a little different than usual! 🙂
Our holiday traditions include opening our gifts Christmas morning and then going to my mom’s later in the day to open our gifts there. 😉

We have a lot of traditions, but one that started in my childhood, that I did w/ my kids and now my grandkids, is that wrapped presents are passed out and opened one at a time w/ everyone watching, starting w/ the youngest choosing one, moving up by age to the adults, then starting back w/ the youngest. That way it’s not mass chaos and you can see everyone’s enjoyment.
We go to Christmas Eve service and Christmas morning we open gifts then go to spend time with family.
One tradition we have is walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the different Christmas decorations and lights
My family traditions is decorating the Xmas tree
We’ve started to have a gingerbread house decorating party with friends every year. My daughter really looks forward to it and it’s so much fun. I pre-build the houses and each guest (parent) brings some candy to contribute to the pot. It’s amazing what all the kids come up with!
One of our traditions is to open gifts on Christmas Eve except we save Christmas stockings for Christmas morning.
I love decorating the tree with my children. They have different ideas each year and enjoy helping.
We love getting a Christmas tree to decorate right after Thanksgiving! We also hang up lights, and drive around the neighborhood to look at everyone’s decorations!
We always open our stockings first – the kids then the adults. Then the kids open their presents and play with the new stuff when the adults open theirs.
We always have a Christmas Eve Party for our family & friends. Lots of food & fun! I always make my homemade egg nog….delicious!
Our holiday traditions are lots of football and parade watching and dinner with the family.
I have the wrapping paper that my mom used for my Dad and I use it to wrap my husband’s present. They got married in 1959 and she bought the paper that year. She used it for as long as I can remember and gave it to me when I got married in 1990. It’s pretty worn & tattered but I still use it. Dad passed away in 2008.
My favorite holiday time is Christmas Eve! My hubby always makes a yummy chicken stir fry, and then we watch holiday specials or movies. The kids are allowed to open one gift…and it’s always holiday pajamas!
