Let freedom ring! I am absolutely proud to be American and I love shirts that represent our freedom and independence. I also love shirts that are unique and stylish as well. Instead of the blaring symbols on the front of shirts, just a simple lettering that’s interesting and not overbearing is pleasant to the eyes.
U.S. of Awesome was started in 2011 when America was still trying to come back from the financial crash. This country was built on by people who gave up everything to start new lives. Over the course of the next few months U.S. of Awesome took shape.
In knowing that a company is based off of what makes our Country the best is important to me. I like seeing clothing made here in America, or products in general. The fact that they are geared towards bringing the positivity out from America and not the negatives is what will help our country place itself back on the top of the list. These shirts are made by American Apparel so they are made here in the USA. I’ve been striving to purchase more items that are made here only so these shirt mean a lot to me.
I was given the opportunity to review two shirts. The first shirt is their indigo Let Freedom Ring. The other one is their 1776 shirt. When they say that their sizing runs small, it’s true! However I could not order one size larger than what I normally wear so I went with the hope that these would fit well. Due to my larger size on top it’s difficult for me to find shirts that fit perfect all over. These were snug across the upper area and fit fine around the waist. However they were very comfortable and if I wore a cardigan, sweater or a button up over top of the shirt they still looked nice and you couldn’t tell they were snug. I even washed them in cold water and dried them. They never once shrunk. In fact they stayed true to size which is a good thing!
If you want to be a proud American head over to the U.S. of Awesome store and pick up a few shirts for your family. You can purchase both of these shirts for $29.00 a piece for a total of $58.
