Dove And Kroger Are Making #GirlsUnstoppable!

Having a little girl may seem like sunshine and puppies all the time to her but as a parent I worry about her self-esteem as she grows older. I want her to be a strong woman and to learn that it doesn’t take boys or makeup to make us strong. Though, you also have to have confidence and make your own destiny.

I did have self-esteem issues, especially in junior high. I was the new girl in class and not the best looking compared to other girls in my opinion. Looking back, I know now that it was okay that I didn’t wear makeup or have the best clothes. I was being me and that was what is important, even now.

I think it’s great that Dove and Kroger are partnering for the #GirlsUnstoppable campaign. What is #GirlsUnstoppable? Dove started a Self-Esteem Project that uses self-esteem building programs to help reach 15 million girls by 2015. Reaching their full potential is so important to Dove that proceeds from EVERY purchase goes to girls across the country. Don’t let your girl(s) stop doing what they love!

    My favorite Dove product is their go fresh Cool Moisture Beauty Bar. I do shop at a Kroger affiliated store at least half of the time.

    I use their deodorant. I once had a terrible reaction to a deodorant and once I got better, I only have used Dover since. I shop at Kroger almost daily it seems.

    I use Dove White Beauty Bar because I have sensitive skin. I shop at Fry’s all the time, which is a Kroger store.

    I love Dove unscented bar soap. It’s great for my skin allergies and doesn’t dry me out like most bar soaps. Yes, I shop at Kroger!
