I think I prefer the lower value entries, just because I think the over inflated ones make it look like tens of thousands of people entered a giveaway when it’s less than 100. I do prefer giveaway tools to rafflecopter, because it keeps track of your total entries (unlike RC which resets so you don’t know how many entries you really have–if that makes sense, LOL!)

I think it just depends on the situation. For example: some people will have a group of facebook, twitter, etc to like. They group them all together. You have to like them all and you get 10 entries. I don’t like that. I would rather pick and choose which people/groups/etc I want to like. I would rather have separate entries at 1 point each.
I think the bibby mat is a really neat idea, 2 birds with one stone.
Regarding the value of giveaway entries, I think the ones that involve extra steps or publicly promoting the website, sponsor, or giveaway should be worth more. For example, it’s simple to click on a “vote” button, but I put a lot of thought into composing a Facebook share that all my friends will see, so it seems that my time and effort should be worth an extra entry or two. “Liking” or “following” are private, but tweeting is public, and I’m putting myself out there.
