UnitedHealthcare and Tom’s Take On Things want you to know how to manage health care costs or avoiding cost surprises. Check out the giveaway and complete the fun games to get your entries in to win a $100 Target Gift card from Tom’s Take On Things. In addition to that, with each fun game you complete, you can enter to win prizes from UnitedHealthcare as well, such as $100 weekly, or a $500 Monthly prize they are giving away as well. You can do all of these daily, to increase your odds!

    I make sure the doctor takes my insurance and use generic meds when possible.

    I have healthy habits so I don’t have to go to the Dr as often.

    I try to save money by taking care of myself and not getting sick in the first place.

    We save money on healthcare costs by trying to be proactive instead of reactive. Preventive care and actions go a long way to save!

    I take steps to keep myself healthy like eating a healthy diet and exercising to avoid costly health problems.

    I try to spread appointments out a little longer. For example, I need to see my RA doctor every 6 weeks, but usually, I span the appointments to 8 weeks.

    I try to limit doctor visits and make sure to keep my yearly health check appointments!!
