Women’s Health with Provella Probiotics {review}

I remember being pregnant with both of my kids. I had the worst digestion problems and was not happy with the advice the doctor gave! My doctor told me to eat yogurt and greens and drink plenty of water. Really? There had to be SOMETHING that could cause this horrible and painful discomfort to go away. He just laughed (nicely I may add) and said that there was an obvious answer (giving birth) but since it was too early for that he also suggested probiotics to help ‘get my digestion’ going. It worked. Follow the doctor’s advice right?

As we are getting ready to try for our third baby I want to be in tip-top shape. That means prepping early before I am even pregnant. I started taking Provella, a probiotic, so I could regulate my digestion and not worry when my bathroom ‘woes’ will start after I become pregnant. I especially like that Provella is designed for me, a woman, specifically to supplement my natural flora.

Provella has six bacterial strains (good bacteria) specifically chosen to support digestive and vaginal health. Many bacteria help the body function properly and the good bacteria aid in the digestion and absorption of food and nutrients. Below you can see a diagram of how Provella’s controlled-release system aids in digestive health.

Results? I feel better. I truly do. After I eat a meal I don’t feel as though there is a lead weight in my stomach. These days I am more regular too and that is encouraging. It feels as though my body is finally going in the healthy direction I want (and need) it to go!  The only negative I have to report is the non-childproof packaging. It is a flip top as you can see above so make sure it is kept out reach of children. Below you will find a video from Provella to watch that will answer a lot of your health questions.

Download this great $6 off coupon from Provella for my readers or you can buy Provella at Drugstore.com!
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Provella. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. I really wish my doctor would have given me some useful advice before and after having my little guy. I think this would have been a help to me then! Thanks for sharing.
