As I’ve said before, my family is very active in the baseball community and we LOVE the game. My son decided to play fall ball instead of football and that’s okay with us. We don’t want to put pressure on what he is involved with but he HAS to be involved in something. He’s also been invited to try out for the Dayton Canes baseball in July which is a travelling team so we’ll be quite the busy family should he join.
Here’s Big C on his Spring team the Ohio State Eagles playing first base. He’s commented that he’d love to be a baseball player when he grows up and we’re encouraging what he loves. Physical activity is important for all of us but especially the younger generations since electronics have become a front runner in all of our lives. It’s nice to see my children engaging their teammates and learning how to become a better person through social interaction.
Huggies has let us nominate a community project campaign in our area with their awesome #Ultrahug campaign on social media and I know Miamisburg Civic Youth Baseball and Softball Association could use the extra $2000 to make repairs on the bleachers and buy new equipment for the children and coaches.

On July 6th, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.
