Rain Cosmetics has top of the line make up for the eyes, lips, and anything you truly need to make a big impression no matter where you go. Being a stay at home mother I don’t really go out that much but when I do I want make up that’s going to last and still make me look good. I was excited to receive the High Rise mascara and the Expressive eye pencil in chocolate which are amazing products. I have blue eyes and I love using the color brown since it compliments them so well but I always have issues with my eyelashes clumping together or not looking as defined as I would like.
First of all, I made sure my face was clear of any make up residue and then I applied the eye pencil. I love, love, love the way it glides over my eyelid and was smooth and not rough. A while ago I bought a very cheap pencil at the dollar store and hurt my eye due to a stray piece of wood breaking off the pencil. I will never again make that mistake! Eyes are sensitive and you definitely want something that’s not going to irritate your eye and is super easy to apply.
I had to run the pencil over the spot on my eyelid that I wanted darker but it definitely did the trick and was easy to darken where it was needed, no smears or smudges. After that I applied the mascara and at first I was nervous because my eyelashes usually clump together but it went on smoothly and highlighted my eyelashes the way I was hoping.
