veggiekidzWhat girl doesn’t like make up and nail polish? What’s better than having all of that made out of vegetables? Veggie Kidz has make up made out of vegetables! How cool is that? Instead of all those extra additives that can be in certain make up for children these are made out of veggies so it’s much safer for your little one. I was afraid my daughter might break out as she has never worn make up. This was the first time that I applied make up to her face for Halloween and she absolutely loved it! Below are some little tidbits about the company and their products. I’m so excited to share these with you!

  • Their products do not stain skin.
  • No harsh chemicals
  • No toxins
  • No mysteries about ingredients
  • Comes off with ease

This make up really does come off with ease. My daughter decided to put make up on my face the other day and I was afraid it wouldn’t come off. It was all over my nose and my forehead. I jumped in the shower real quick to get ready for dinner at my Dad’s house and I honestly forgot that she had put make up on my face. When I looked in the mirror after I got to my Dad’s house, it was gone! My toddler still had some on her face but she looked cute with it on. I wasn’t about to wipe off her adorable artwork!

Below are some cute photos of her with her Minnie Mouse make up on for Halloween this year.

halloweenThey sent me a special three set for her Minnie Mouse costume of the following:

  • Savannah Squash Make Up – Red
  • Carly Cabbage Make Up – White
  • Bianca Beet Make Up – Black

We didn’t use too much of the white but the black and pink worked perfectly with her costume. It went on quickly and just as thick as regular make up. I did notice however after an hour or two of it being on it slowly begins to fade. She may have wiped it on accident though. It does come off very easily so if you’re in a hurry and your little one has this make up smeared all over their face rest easy because it cleans well.

veggiemakeupIf you really want your child to have fun just give them the make up compact above. My daughter has had so much fun with this although I am always there to supervise her. This can get messy after a while! She has managed to blend a couple of the colors together but I still have managed to make it look cute on her. As you can see above she got ahold of it and was having a little too much fun. This was her first time with make up so I’m glad I captured the moment! Isn’t she just adorable?

The last set of make up I received was their fingernail polish. This polish is fun!

nailpolish

paintnailsAlthough it does not go on that solid I did enjoy painting my nails and my daughter’s nails (if she allowed it). This washes off with soap and water and is very easy to clean. Instead of scrubbing for a while this does come off while leaving just a slight tint behind on your nails. The paint is very watered down in the purple nail polish but the green has more sparkles and is easier to put a solid coat on. My daughter still has hers on after a few days although it’s rubbing off. I prefer to let my daughter play with this nail polish instead of the toxic kind. This is veggie based so it’s safer!

You can purchase the make up I reviewed for the prices listed below:
