Tonya’s Weight Watchers Journey Week 3

By: Tonya5 Comments

Last week was my Baby’s 2nd birthday!  We made it a week long celebration and I did really good not eating too much. I did have a little piece of a jumbo cookie I made and it was soooo good but I stopped myself from eating anymore. It was my first time making a jumbo cookie and I caught myself licking the icing from my fingers when I was done. Things like that add up and  are hard habits to break!

Not the prettiest thing for my first time and considering my icing tips were missing but the kids loved it.

I am now down to one diet coke a day!  Woo hoo!!!  Saturday morning I woke up to go weigh in at Weight Watchers and stay for the meeting. I didn’t exactly make it, my head was pounding and Max’s party was also on Saturday so I had a ton to do before everybody showed up. I don’t feel bad about missing the meeting because it made the day so much better. I got to sleep in a little and I got everything done I needed to, plus some. SO this week I did not even weigh myself at home. I am working extra hard and hoping for at least an 8 lb. loss at this next weigh in.

Pablo, Uniqua, Tasha, Austin and Tyrone joined us for the party too!

On Saturday I got a bakery cake for Max’s party and decked the house out with Backyardigans stuff. We were having so much fun, then came time to eat the cake, I also had a piece and oh my oh my, it was AMAZING! I should have bought the cake at the same place I always go to because I don’t even like it. (which is why I tried somewhere else this time). I have not been doing too good with my activity. I would say most days I don’t do anything 🙁 however we have a bounce house and we got it out for Max’s party and it’s such a good way to earn activity points. I decided to chase my 5 year old twins around it. This is coming from a non-runner that trips over her own feet all the time. I twisted my ankle and at the time I could have sworn that I broke it. I was so embarrassed because my neighbors were outside and I was screaming for my husband.

Ewe, ouch and very swollen

I just sprained it, but it hurts! It’s healing fast and as soon as it’s healed (probably a couple weeks) I have a new goal of earning 5 activity points a day. That doesn’t add up to much, maybe 45 minutes a day doing something, gardening, Wii Fit (which I don’t have but I want, if anybody has it let me know how you like it!) or maybe, if I dare, bouncing in the bounce house, just no running in it.

Max with his big brother, Lucas and Michael.

I have a wii fit, and it’s really good at first, but that particular game gets old and a little boring, but there are LOTS of games you can get for it too, which is awesome! Congrats on working to lose this weight.. Hopefully reading your story will inspire me to get off of my butt and work on my own.

Congrats on your Weight Watcher’s journey! I’m also on a weight loss journey and it’s hard, but I feel so much better since I started. I do have the Wii Fit and I love doing it. I bought the Just Dance Kids for my kids for the Wii and that’s also a GREAT workout…we are all sweating when we are done 🙂
