Tolo First Friend's TrainMy son is a huge fan of playing with trains. He likes wooden tracks, plastic tracks, playing with trains off of tracks – basically anything that has to do with trains. He has a ton of wooden train tracks that he plays with and he even has a plastic set, however, he doesn’t have an electronic train set. I received Tolo’s First Friends Train Set and my son and daughter have really enjoyed playing with it.

Tolo's First Friend's TrainThis is an electronic train set that includes one train, one carriage, train driver, and ten pieces of train tracks to form an oval. For some reason I thought this set would be smaller but was happily surprised at the size of the train tracks. These are larger sized tracks and, with ten tracks, it forms a nice sized track.

It was very, very easy to put the tracks together (my four year old son did it by himself). The train and carriage can be attached or played with separately. There is an on/off switch as well as a demo switch. When the train is turned on, you press down on the train driver’s head and it chugs around the track while lighting up on the healights and tooted the horn. When you switch it to demo, it chugs along without your assistance. My son enjoys riding it around the track on his own while pressing down the head while my daughter likes to turn it on demo and watch it ride around. My children also like adding some small toys in the carriage (blocks, dolls, etc.) and watch it be carried around the track.

Tolo's First Friend's TrainThis is a really cute and fun train set that encourages imaginative play, as well as, hand eye coordination and a variety of other development skills. This make a great gift for that train lover and is geared for children ages one through five. You can purchase the First Friend’s Train Set for $80 on Amazon.
