It’s back to school time!! Now imagine me screaming that from the rooftops, you know, like that one Republica song “Ready To Go”. OK, OK, so that may not be an appropriate mantra but look I’ll be singing a tune as soon as my husband’s alarm clock goes off next Thursday morning. Of course I’m sad! It’s a mom thing. But on the flip-side I’m ecstatic that my kids won’t be at each other’s throats all. day. long. SO what am I doing to prepare for this joyous occasion? No! I am NOT breaking out the bubbly but I AM going through their closets, the buckets of hand me downs, and slaving away in the basement while I wash all of their clothes using some fantastic (honestly) P&G products.
What’s in my dungy basement helping me get past the smell of, well, dunginess? Seriously. I’m talking about one light bulb and cobwebs dungy. Spraying Febreze Air Effects helps take away that smell and I’m quite all right to continue my task of washing and folding. Three kids and buckets and buckets of hand me downs and sometimes I don’t come up for days! Good thing Febreze comes in a value 4 pack at Costco I can keep them everywhere I need to freshen up.
Next up is Gain® Original Liquid Laundry Detergent in that pretty green container that brightens the space above my washer nicely. It smells great and cleans their clothes like new after they’ve been in the buckets waiting for daylight.
And last I have Tide Advanced Power that gets all of the grass stains out from the kids playing during recess. I find Tide lifts stains out of clothes and brightens them for wear the next day. And believe me, sometimes my daughter like to wear her clothes more than once and they get dingy and stinky but Tide is our go-to detergent.
