My second son was born in June which is the time of year for a lot of bugs and especially mosquitoes. Of course I don’t want him to get bit so I had to find a solution save being swaddled in a blanket in 90 degree weather! Cozy Cover had a Sun & Bug infant carrier cover we could try so he wouldn’t have to suffer from all of those annoying bugs.

One of our first outings as a family was going to the pool. We have season passes this year and went on a really warm day. We were fortunate to find a nice shady spot but of course the bugs were out in full force. We put the carrier cover over the car seat and he did not get bitten all day. You can see right through since I was constantly checking to see if he was okay. The product is a good investment for your baby arsenal. You can easily keep this in your diaper bag or glove box and have the cover handy every day.

According to Cozy Cover:

The Cozy Sun and Bug infant carrier cover is an industry leader when it comes to spring and summer protection for baby. The Cozy Sun & Bug Cover keeps baby safe from potentially harmful insects and unwanted touch (great for preemie babies) and the pull over flap provides additional protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. The self supporting canopy creates a spacious, well ventilated enclosure for baby. This item is compact and easy to store in diaper bag or stroller pouch. Elasticized edge allows for easy use fitting securely on the infant carrier like a shower cap.

  • Pull down flap provides protection from the sun’s harmful rays and other unfavorable weather conditions
  • Protects baby from potentially harmful insects and unwanted touch – Great for preemie babies
  • Self-supporting canopy creates a spacious, well ventilated enclosure for baby
  • Safe, backless design as recommended by car seat specialists everywhere
  • Easy to store in diaper bag or stroller pocket

I like that it won’t slip off like a blanket would..

This is great for those days when the sun is just too strong for the baby.

Living in the South, it seems like these would be everywhere! We could definitely use one!

I like that is protects from bugs in the car seat. My stroller has a bug net, but I have no option if I have my little in her car seat. Looks great!

These are so awesome! I have never seen one that you can see through. I LOVE it! How perfect for my grandson – I don’t have to worry if he is “ok” under the cover because i can see him the whole time!

I love the mesh, so baby can be protected, but safe while outside. Everyone wants to sneak a peek at baby. I would also use this as a “don’t pick up baby” warning, lol.

I think cozy covers are a great product for keeping bugs and other pests away from my baby girl 🙂

I would have loved to have one of these when my children were young…it is great that it protects from insects but is still well-ventilated and provides UV protections also!

I love this, this is great for camping! I also love this because baby can see out and her big sister couldn’t get in lol! Sometimes all the kids want to play with the baby and this would keep them out as well!

Very cool! I don’t want to slather my baby in bug spray, so this is a nicer option. Also a nice ventilated way to keep people from being touchy touchy with ’em!

I love that this is unique in having a screen to keep up flying things or other bugs. I have never seen one like this.
