How did you meet your significant other?
Joy-Through a mutual friend on prom night my Junior year. We were going as a group of girls and he tagged along and ended up paying for my dinner etc…it’s a long story that I’m going to share sometime. But we’re high school sweethearts.
Nik- I actually met my husband through the internet. Yes, we are one of ‘those’ couples. Remember the chat rooms on AOL? Well, I used to be in a chat room that would meet on the weekends for drinks and just gatherings. Another friend of mine in the room suggested a double date with him-my now husband- and her and her boyfriend. What’s really bad is that I knew of this guy and didn’t really like him. But I was bored and decided, ‘why not’? We actually had a good time on that first date and had many more dates to follow. It’s been 10 years since that first date and we have been married for 6 of those years! I guess first impressions aren’t always the correct ones!
Tonya- Through Joy. Her husband is my husband’s best friend. Worked out pretty well 🙂
