Summer Blog Challenge Day #50 (July 20)

By: Nik2 Comments

What would you do with the money if you won the lottery?

Joy-I would of course pay the bills and house off etc. Then make sure family and friends are comfortable by directly paying a bill or two. Then I’d put away money for college and retirement and have some fun.

Nik- First off, there go the bills!  Next I would make sure that my mother is taken care of.  Then I would just go on a spree.  Vacations, clothes, vehicles  and making sure the rest of my family is taken care of.  One thing that I wouldn’t do is quit my job.  I may go down to part-time or try to start my own business, but I would still work.  I love my children and family tremendously, but I could not be a SAHM.  (My hat is off to each and every one of you!)

Tonya- Pay all my bills, credit cards, loans and our mortgage. Shopping spree, visit Oklahoma to see family, donate, buy a sleep number bed, I could go on and on. If it was, say, $181 million then my husband would retire. Make sure our parents were able to retire and help other family (again if it was some serious cash).

We all seem to have similar priorities–pay off debt, take care of family.
