Talk about a favorite vacation you have taken
Joy-I’d have to say going to Pittsburgh when the Steelers played the 49ers in 2007. I’m a Steelers fan (since they lost to the Cowboys in ’96..shutter) and my husband is a 49ers fan. Although we do root for each other teams. (It’s ok..they are in separate divisions!)
Nik- My favorite vacation other than my honeymoon is when I went to Disney World in 1997. I think it was the 25th anniversary. I went with my teenage sister and her friend and my son who was 4 at the time. We stayed in one of the resorts so we got spoiled being so close to the different parks. I do remember going to some alien show and my son getting so scared that I got mad. I remember thinking that Disney was supposed to be all fun and laughs. After we left Disney, we were there for 4 days, we went to Clearwater where a friend of mine lives. We had a hotel room for us and when I was gone with my friend and son, the girls apparently met some boys. Needless to say, nothing good came out of that night. But the highlight of this trip is when I dislocated my knee! And of course we drove to Florida from Ohio and I was the only driver. All that I can say is ‘Thank Goodness for Cruise Control’.
Erin- I think my favorite vacation was the last one we had – February 2010. We took my (then) 26-month-old daughter to Florida to visit my parents who had just moved there about 4 months prior. I was 13 weeks pregnant with our son. We spent most of our time around town or at home. But we took her to Disney for a day. It was great seeing her reaction to all the characters. We also went to Homosassa Springs to see the manatees.
Tonya- My husband won an Alaskan cruise shortly after our honeymoon. It was amazing and everybody says to splurge and spend the money on the excursions but there is no need too. The view was amazing and that’s all we needed.
