sandgrensIf you have read many of my posts by now you will know I’m obsessed with shoes. I love shoes. I love heels and clogs as well as wedges, you name it. I actually loved my old pair of clogs but I wore them so much they practically fell apart last year. Thankfully I was given the opportunity to review a gorgeous pair of wooden clogs from Sandgrens. They have such a large variety of shoes to choose from and even have boots! Did I mention they even have shoes for men as well? If you want an authentic pair of wooden clogs made in Sweden, Sandgrens has what you’re looking for. Just take a peek at their shop. You may just be surprised!

At first I received a pair that did not fit me and the customer service was exceptional. They made sure I was taken care of and let me pick a different pair that was a little bigger than the last, even a different style if I desired. I was so pleased with how kindly I was treated. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that’s the best any company can do for a customer.

The shoes I received to review after the first pair are called “Rome” in Nature color. Such a lovely pair of clogs. Mind you, I had never worn a pair of wooden clogs before. My last pair of clogs were comfort fit and were like a normal pair of shoes with a soft interior. I’m always more than eager to try something new and these were a change for once!

shoesI did have to go up one size than what I normally wear so they would fit me, and they did! I had to walk around in them so they would form to my feet for added comfort. Wooden bottom is more comfortable than I would have imagined and the top cream colored part of the shoe has a soft leather texture on the outside. The inside of the shoe on the top is soft to the touch and comfortable on the foot. With the metal buttons surrounding the shoe a couple are out of place but you wouldn’t notice unless you were really looking! I wore these to class and they were a bit different to walk in but comfortable. After a few hours of wearing them I did notice they rubbed a little on the top part of my foot and left it a little sore. When I walk though, I tend to walk on the inside of my foot so this has nothing to do with the shoe itself. Oh! It was bitter cold the night of class and although my feet were cold before I put these on, my feet stayed the same temperature. In other words these don’t exactly keep your feet super warm but they do protect them from getting colder.

For a pair of wooden clogs I thought they would have taken some time to get used to but after wearing them a couple times they were more comfortable than I imagined!

You can purchase these Rome clogs from Sandgrens for $149.

Black Friday: Sandgrens will be having a sale on Black Friday, so make sure you check them out that day!
