I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starbucks. I received a promotional item and a gift card to facilitate my review.
I was very excited to get to try the Oprah Chai Tea at Starbucks. I love an iced Chai and I just don’t treat myself to one as often as I should. What better way to share Mother’s Day with someone I love than to take them somewhere and enjoy a nice drink that was my treat. I took my sister whom I never spend enough time with these days. It seems since I’ve moved back home we don’t talk as much whereas when I lived in Indiana, four hours away, we’d talk more often! Funny how life keeps you busy and you neglect the people that matter the most to you. We had a great time catching up and just talking. It was not long enough so I think we’ll do this again very soon!
This is my sister enjoying a Venti Iced Teavana Oprah Chai Tea. I unfortunately had to get a Tall since I have Gestational Diabetes and really have to watch what I eat and drink. We thought the Chai was great and had a nice pumpkin spice flavor. The new Teavana Oprah Chai Tea features an infusion of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves, blended with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos.
Starbucks will be offering a Buy One Get One Free Teavana Oprah Chai Tea beverage on Mother’s Day which is May 11th 2014! I’m pretty sure I’ll be stopping in tomorrow to enjoy one with my husband who LOVES the loose leaf tea that we received as well. He never cared for Chai Tea because he doesn’t like pumpkin or pumpkin spices but he’s the one that’s been steeping the tea and drinking it. I don’t mind sharing even if I do think he really likes pumpkin!
Starbucks will also be making a donation of twenty-five cents for each Teavana Oprah Chai product sold to benefit educational opportunities for youth through the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. To learn more about this program visit Steep Your Soul to learn more.
