Do you love Melissa McCarthy and her antics? She’s one of my favorite comedians since Gilmore Girls and I’ve been wanting to see this fun movie! We’re hosting a Spies Night In party for a couple of our friends and I’m excited to enjoy some adult time with the husband! Keep in mind this isn’t a movie for younger kids since it’s rated R however they did enjoy dressing up!
I enjoy Melissa McCarthy and her characters. I’ve recently been watching Gilmore Girls and had no clue she was part of the series. While I didn’t get a chance to see SPY in theaters I enjoyed hosting a Spies Night In party for a couple of our friends and I’m excited to enjoy some adult time with the husband! Keep in mind this isn’t a movie for younger kids since it’s rated R however they did enjoy dressing up!
Each of our guests received a Secret Agent Gift Case with a Red Cross Flashlight, survival whistle, popcorn, and various munchies for the movie. We enjoyed watching SPY on Digital HD since we didn’t have a copy of the movie.
And while my son didn’t watch the movie since it was rated R, he did enjoy dressing up and wearing the wig and cat t-shirt. Both he and my daughter thought it was so funny.
Queen of Comedy Melissa McCarthy embarks on the mission of a lifetime as secret agent Susan Cooper in SPY. The September 29th Blu-ray release will include two versions of the film – Theatrical and never-before-seen Unrated Cut.
McCarthy is armed and hilarious in this “outrageously entertaining” (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone) comedy hit from director Paul Feig (The Heat, Bridesmaids). Deskbound CIA analyst Susan Cooper is about to become the world’s newest — and unlikeliest — secret weapon. When her partner (Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Statham) is compromised, Susan volunteers to go deep undercover and bring down a deadly arms dealer. Loaded with wise-cracking action and adventure, SPY is a mission impossible to resist!
