Spring Fashion With Handmade Bubale Clothing {Review}

Have you ever wanted something specially made by hand from Jerusalem, Israel? Bubale has an array of beautiful handmade clothing meant for little girls and toddlers of all kinds. They were kind enough to send me their gorgeous Damask Dress in a size 2T for my toddler to wear, and model. Once the box arrived, properly packaged, my daughter decided it was hers (typical twenty-two month old, right?). The excitement she showed once it was opened made it seem like Christmas all over again. The Damask Dress was folded neatly into a square and placed in a plastic wrapper to protect the fabric. I think I was more excited to open the package more than my daughter was!

The fabric of the dress feels like cloth, not too rough but not soft like silk, it’s just right. To make it even better, the sleeves were loose and the dress itself had a little more movement than I had expected. My daughter had plenty of fun playing in the outfit, and there were a lot of compliments to go around. Of course the moment I mentioned that it was handmade in Israel the majority of my family members loved it even more! It’s not often we have outfits that are handmade from another country, so this of course was a treat.

The 2T fit my daughter  was almost perfect despite being slightly larger around the shoulder area and the sleeves seemed to get in the way every once in a while. However, I did plan on taking a ribbon and placing it just above her waist and tying it in the back, sadly I didn’t get the chance to so. The dress looks amazing on it’s own, and my daughter had no problem wearing it around. To make it even better with spring here and summer coming up, the fabric is perfect for warmer weather as it’s thin enough to keep my daughter from sweating. This dress will fit my daughter for at least another year if I am lucky, which makes it easier as it seems perfect for all-season wear.

You can find Bubale’s Damask Dress for $44.90 in their Etsy shop for sizes 2-6 Girls. You can also connect with Bubale on Facebook!
