I know all the wonderful benefits of swaddling babies. After having three kiddos, one of which HATED being swaddled, I’ve tried my fair share of swaddle blankets and products. I discovered swaddling shortly after my first daughter was born and her startle reflex was constant and she wouldn’t settle. There are many fabulous blankets, and all very beautiful. The Ollie Swaddle was designed by a foster parent who took custody of a little boy who couldn’t be comforted by traditional swaddling. After searching for a swaddle that would hold him correctly, keep enough comforting pressure, and keep his legs wrapped and not finding it, she created her own. The Ollie Swaddle uses a unique moisture wicking material that keeps baby from overheating. The fabric also has some elasticity in it that still allows movement, but keeps enough comforting pressure. The Velcro enclosures have enough contact points that allow for the swaddle to be individualized for each baby and will grow with them.

The first time I used the Ollie with my newest little one, I appreciated how easy it was to use. I love the small cut outs for head and shoulder placement. Also appreciate the soft Velcro used, as it doesn’t stick to everything around it, but does adhere perfectly to itself. My little looks just too cute and a little like a pink mermaid with the gathered bottom 😉
