The colder weather has moved its way in. The fall is beautiful, I love all of the activities, scents and flavors. However, winter follows shortly after. The evenings are shorter, there is less outside time and everyone starts to go a little stir crazy. I’m not sure about your children or grandchildren, but mine start to gravitate to the TV, as it’s usually a special treat but in the winter, it’s almost an activity in itself. I worry sitting my kids down and just letting them watch anything. Luckily NCircle has come to my rescue. They are a family oriented entertainment company that offers DVDs that will not only be enjoyable for your little ones but will be educational for them as well. I’m comfortable that if I pop in an NCircle DVD and leave the room, my children will only be watching something appropriate for their ages, but also engage them with fun topics and characters.
They offer brands such as Mike the Knight, Dino Dan, Pajanimals, WordWorld, Pocoyo and so many more beloved friends. My kids and I had the awesome opportunity to review five great films (two of which are brand new!) We received The Wiggles: Apples & Bananas, Octonauts: Deep Sea Mission, Cat in the Hat: Show & Tell Sure is Swell, Animal Atlas: Animal ABC’s and Sid the Science Kid: The Ruler of Thumb. My oldest has requested The Wiggles and Octonauts more than once already. My little guy has really been enjoying the Animal Atlas because they are doing zoo phonics in his preschool program.
I have to admit; usually I would walk away and get chores done as the kids would watch their shows. But with these, we’ve settled in together for family movie nights. The Wiggles sure have some catchy songs and we all find ourselves dancing. If you know these fun characters, scoop up their new DVDs early for the holiday season. If you’re unfamiliar, I’d definitely check them out! Their website also offers games, coloring pages and cool things for your kids to do.
