I am a 32-year-old wife and mom of two amazing heathens hellions children.
I love my little ankle biters. Chloe is 4 going on 16 and a TOTAL drama queen. She loves to draw, make up songs and dance. Sadly, she got my ability to dance and her daddy’s ability to sing. (Too bad it wasn’t the other way!) Finn is 1, going on Monster. In fact, he responds better to “Monster” than Finn. He is 100% boy and a total sweetie.
John and I have been together for 8 years and this September we’ll be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary! I’m lucky to have a man with as twisted a sense of humor as me! There is rarely a day that I don’t laugh with him!
I’m a snarky woman with a huge heart. Maybe too big. I’m willing to do just about anything to make those in my life happy, even at the expense of myself sometimes. John’s pet name for me is his little jellyfish (because I have no backbone). I’m currently working on saying ‘no’ more often. But that isn’t going so well.
I have a degree in English Lit. and part way through my Masters for Education (but I’ve given that up). I have worked MULTIPLE jobs over the year including waitress, customer service representative (in a call center), daycare worker, bookstore clerk, freelance writer and most recently Thirty-One Independent Consultant. I’m always willing to try something new!
I love to cook (in fact I consider myself an amateur foodie), reading, crafting, singing, etc. Unfortunately, with the exception of cooking, I don’t get a chance to do much of the other things thanks to my kiddos. But it is all par for the course, and I am fine with that!
I’m in the process of becoming a first time homeowner (my husband’s childhood home). The house is a MAJOR fixer-upper. I’m sure I’ll spend lots of times complaining about all the work!
