Minimalism. That’s my goal. Not the 2017 goal but my overall life goal. Man, it is sooooo hard to be a minimalist with three kids. So So hard! Whenever I feel like I’m making headway more junk piles away in a corner for me to turn a blind eye to until after the holidays. You know what will help decrease my clutter? Digital receipts. And CVS has jumped right into the game!
What? What do you mean digital receipts will decrease my clutter?
Well, my paper clutter is just as big as my junk clutter and if I can organize it into a nice little virtual folder for later then that’s a great goal to have.
I go to CVS often and I always have a receipt a mile long. Why? Becuase so many Extra Care Bucks print out! Not to mention additional store coupons and a running tally of the rewards I need to redeem. This is why I am very excited CVS has gone paperless.
Picture this:
Stop into your local CVS to buy diapers – they have great deals when you are rolling your ECBs and using coupons – you get to the front and provide your email address to the cashier and by the time you’re at the car viola! Digital receipt and nothing to clutter your purse. Don’t worry though. ExtraCare deals/coupons can be easily accessed (and not lost!) through email and notably the CVS Pharmacy app. And since I have my phone with me most of the time it’s very convenient.
Now if I can just remember to organize that receipt into the virtual folder that would be great. Baby steps!
