Summer is here! School is out, sunny days are here and a few more lazy days are ahead. Well, except for the extra activities the kids want to participate in, sports to get to and a couple of camps squeezed in there. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change it, these experiences are great for them. Now if only they could drive themselves!
The one main thing I always worry about when the kids are running from place to place is to keep track of all of their stuff. The equipment, water bottles, backpacks, or anything else that travels with us weekly somehow gets left at the Y, or a soccer field or camp. At most of these places, lost stuff gets put in a huge box and is hardly ever reclaimed because no one is sure if it was theirs or not.

Since these labels are for the kids to take on their stuff for camp, etc, I chose a monkey, simply because sometimes they run, climb and act like them 🙂 My mind is at ease that if by chance they leave something, we can quickly find it in the midst of all the other lost items. The creation of the labels took me no longer than ten minutes and they were at my house by the next week.
