When I was younger, all I wanted was to wear the same fun stuff my friends were wearing. I had to have a Starter jacket in my favorite team. It’s funny looking back on pictures of myself and classmates all in near matching jackets. Luckily, as you grow up, so does your sense of style (and you find your own personal style). Other than vacation-y type shirts with the location you’re visiting, I like having shirts that fit my personality. I’m so happy I found Doodles & Dots, they help let my personality shine!
Luckily my kids have always wanted to be their own fashionista when it comes to clothing. Unfortunately for me, that means snubbed noses at many outfits I suggest. Doodles & Dots is a fun Etsy shop that can cater to any style, personality and ironic sense of humor. Owner Miranda creates customized shirts for adults, children, babies and koozies. She is extremely flexible when it comes to colors and style. If you’ve got something in mind, but like a different font color, Doodles & Dots has you covered.
If you’re just browsing the shop, you will notice there are references from TV, movies, music and pop culture. For me, I chose a Follow Me To Stars Hollow tee. I don’t know about you, but November 25th can’t come soon enough. I digress. I appreciate that Doodles & Dots offers ladies cut tees, as well as men’s. My son picked out I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good. The baby got I Love You To The Death Star And Back. I completely chose the Star Wars references tee for the baby, but the kids are equal Harry Potter nerds like their mama, so his choice was all his 😉 There are so many fun shirts, I have my eye on at least 4 more. Most likely an NKOTB shirt for me, the Sandlot quote for hubby, Practically Perfect In every Way for my oldest and the Papa Bear shirt for the kids to give to my dad.
Communication is quick and easy with Doodles & Dots and the turnaround time is quick as well. She’s a one woman shop, and a busy parent like so many of us, but she’s just as excited for you to get your new Tee, as you are. Plus, at $12.50 a shirt, everyone in the family can be stylin’ and profilin’!
