Letter Box ActivityLearning Resources is a company which creates educational toys approved by moms and teachers and loved by children. Their products are high quality items that are not only enjoyed in our homes but in classrooms. There are so many to choose from, including puzzles, games, and creative play. You can also read my review of Learning Resources’ Hide-n-go Moo.

Letter Box ActivityI received the Letter Box Activity Set from Learning Resources and this is perfect for my son who is in Pre-K and beginning to work on letter recognition and letter sounds. This is such a great and educational product that is also very fun for children. My son really enjoys working on his numbers but it’s a struggle working on the alphabet, however, he was very interested in this activity.

Included in the set:

  • Over one hundred double-sided alphabet cards with real-life photos and thirteen double-sided letter cards (plus eight blanks)
  • Activity Guide with reproducibles for home connections
  • Magnetic chart features reverse storage pocket, which measures 24″H x 18″L

Learning Resources

This activity is great for children who are learning the alphabet, mastering the letters or beginning to learn the letter sounds. My son liked that he was able to practice writing the letters on the paper and also do the activities together. (This product works best with a white board, however, I used sheets of paper in place of the white board and it works just as well. The chart is magnetic and has an opening for the white board so students can practice writing and easily erase the work). I had my son write the letter (we started with one letter a day). We then worked together to find the picture cards that begin with each specific letter. There are so many activities you can do with this activity and all lessons can be modified to work well for each child.

You can purchase the Letter Box Activity Set for $35  and other Learning Resource products from their website and on Amazon.

Connect with Learning Resources on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, and Instagram.

One reader will be randomly chosen to win a Letter Box Activity Set! ($35) Open to US residents only who are 18 or older. Begins 12/17/2013 at 12:01 am EST and ends 12/30/2013 at 11:59 pm EST.
