Learning Resources is a company which creates educational toys approved by moms and teachers and loved by children. Their products are high quality items that are not only enjoyed in our homes but in classrooms. There are so many to choose from, including puzzles, games, and creative play.

I had the opportunity to review their Hide n’Go Moo. This toy included eight adult and baby animals (cow, duck, horse, and pig) and one barn. It states that this item is for ages two and older and although my two and half year old enjoyed playing with this toy, my ten month old loved it just as much. The object of this game is to be able to identify and match the animals by touch. Children reach under the flap and into the barn, without looking, to match the animals. My two year old easily understood the directions and had so much fun playing with this game! Her favorite animals were the ducks. After identifying and matching the adult and baby animals she then enjoyed pretend play with the barn and animals and was even trying to teach her sister the animal’s sounds – which was adorable!

Learning Resources

There are supplementary activities included on the website to go with Hide n’ Go Moo.  These additional activities are worksheets you can print for your children. I printed the set and my daughter had so much fun with them! There was a matching game, a maze, and a coloring page. Her favorite was coloring all the animals and barn.
