Kauffman’s Fruit Farm Make Back To School Mornings Tasty!

kauffmansmaplesyrupMy kids love to eat breakfast. It is a meal that they never miss especially now that school is a week away. It’s not always homemade but when it is we love to make waffles, scrambled eggs and of course you can’t forget the sausage or bacon. What goes great with waffles? Maple syrup! Nothing beats pure maple syrup on a fresh stack of pancakes or waffles. Mmmm.

kauffmanfruitfarm

Kauffmans Fruit Farm sells maple syrup fresh from maple tress in New York state. In early spring, the sap from sugar maple trees is collected and boiled down to produce %100 pure maple syrup. Yum!

According to to their website, Kauffman Orchard Products have been recognized and enjoyed since the early 1900’s. Founder Amos L. Kauffman planted the first fruit trees in 1911, and today multiple generations operate the business. Their warehouse and country market are located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country and their orchards produce over 135 varieties of tree fruits on 100 acres.

kauffmanshoneyKauffmans Fruit Farm also sells raw honey which we receive to sample. The texture is not the same that comes in the honey bear that a lot of people are familiar with. If the raw honey is more solid than liquid you just heat it up in a pan on the stove. It’s pretty neat to show the kids the difference between raw honey and the honey you buy in the honey bear at the store.

What is your favorite breakfast food?

I bet these are rich and flavorful. Seeing that maple syrup pour, I can almost taste the delicious sweetness on the waffles. Yum is right!

Raw honey is supposed to be really good for you and has lots of uses. Real maple syrup on pancakes sounds great!

Real maple syrup is so much better than the “other” syrup! My husband prefers the real thing.

It’s great to know that the Kauffman Orchard Products have been around since the early 1900′s. and that multiple generations operate the business. I love family owned businesses, they work so hard to keep their good family name, and always produce a good product. I would love to try the raw honey, I have never tasted it before. Thanks for the review.

Once you have eaten real maple syrup, the artificial ones are just not the same, this would be great with pure maple syrup from New York on some hot butter biscuits or pancakes on a cool morning. Thank you for sharing this review of Kauffman’s was very interesting.

This looks so yummy and I love that it’s 100% maple syrup. This would be perfect for my husbands homemade waffles.

This company has a large inventory of great stuff. Pure maple syrup is far better than the watered down syrup, which is unhealthy.

I don’t think I”ve ever heard of Kaufrman’s but I’m glad I have now. These are the kinds of products I look for — family-owned and committed to quality.

I usually have yogurt and a banana for breakfast. On the weekends I like to make pancakes or french toast.

I have never had pure natural maple syrup before and it sounds and looks delicious. Someday I would really like to try it. I wonder if I would ever go back to store bought syrup after I try it.

That is great that they have been around for so long and producing products on such a huge piece of land. My kids love breakfast and were recently introduced to maple syrup and prefer it to regular syrup.
