Everyone told me my girl would be easier than my boy and I have to say, everyone was wrong. Big C did it himself (for the most part) and wasn’t afraid to just go. He really set the bar high for the next two although I know each kid is different. My girl was not as willing to sit on the potty. She would go then get annoyed at me and my praise and decide not to go in the potty the next time. It was her own pace and she wasn’t in any hurry to prove anything. In fact, she only tolerated me. It was the oldest who she listened to and who taught her the basics of potty success. It’s amazing looking back at how willing she was to follow his lead.
