Having three kids I know all about promises. Like every mom, I’ve promised my kids I’d be the best  that I could be. Some days that’s easier said than done as the stress of life in general gets to me. With my third baby being born in June I’m now learning to be a mom of three. While some days it’s easy, it’s hard on others.

With Cooper, my third, I promised him I’d breastfeed as long as I could. It’s been a great experience for both of us and it’s so much fun bonding with him and learning his personality. I did not breastfeed the other two as long as I wanted and while I beat myself up at the time, these days I know I did and have done what’s right for our family.

JOHNSON’S Baby always listens to moms and while their products have always been safe, they changed their formula and launched a campaign called “Your Promise is Our Promise” to express their ongoing commitment to moms so you don’t have to worry about the products you’re using on your children.

To share this commitment, Johnson’s  created an inspiring story through the “Our Promise” video,  as an open letter to moms showing  scientists and their families coming together to build an origami stork mobile, symbolizing the delivery of a promise to always listen to moms. A Japanese legend says that by folding 1,000 origami cranes a wish will be granted and a promise fulfilled, thought to be a labor of love.

Changing the formula of  products was their labor of love for moms and babies. Using storks in the video represents the delivery of babies, and the hopes and promises of families.  When Johnson’s Baby heard the concerns of their customers about formaldehyde releasing preservatives and traces of 1,4- dioxane in their baby products they made a promise and committed to remove them. Their newly reformulated products are also hypoallergenic, Paraben-free and Phthalate-free.
