We’re busy cutting out our Valentines Day hearts and making homemade cards for the grandparent her at The Kids Did It. This year both kids have Valentines Day parties and that means mom is busy writing names on the cute little cards and helping to decorate shoe boxes to stick them in. I was always so excited to see what Valentine’s ended up in my box and of course by fifth grade it absolutely meant I had a lot of crushes! While we don’t go all out for Valentine’s Day it is fun to spend it with the kids making suckers or heart-shaped cookies. I try to make a heart-shaped meal (pancakes) and a red or pink drink (strawberry milk) just for fun.
