H&R Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron {Review}

flatiron

I have never had a lot of luck with my cheap little flat iron or hair straightener, it just never worked well for me. Not only was my hair always pure static afterwards, I could never get it completely straight, it never left my hair very attractive, and at the same time it made it look greasy by that afternoon.

I can’t even begin describe how amazed I am with Flat Iron Expert’s H&R tourmaline ceramic hair straightener. Not only did it come with an awesome flat iron stand, but it also came with Thermal Shine, a product that I have heard of but never used before, until now! The stand fits perfectly in my bathroom on my sink and it’s not in the way at all. I don’t knock it to the floor all the time.

When I get out of the shower and let my hair air dry (as you can see in the above photo on the bottom left) it’s incredibly hard to work with and you can forget getting it to style the correct way. This time I sprayed a little bit of the thermal shine over it while it was wet, carefully brushed my hair and waited for it to dry. After it dried I turned on the flat iron, which took only a couple minutes to heat up to the 250 degrees that I’m used to from my other flat iron. It was exciting that I didn’t have to stand around and wait for it to heat up, it was almost instant!

Using the flat iron was super easy. I grabbed small amounts of hair to straighten and the flat iron glided through my hair with complete ease. It only took one swipe through to complete the look I wanted. The cord at the bottom of the iron twists with every move you make so you don’t have to worry about getting it tangled around your hand or having to adjust. Instead it works with you to make working with your hair that much easier.

After I finished, my hair had a soft shine to it as you can see in the above photo, bottom right. It did not look greasy, which I was afraid would happen, but it didn’t! So guess who is incredibly excited to have this product!

If you struggle with your day to day hair straightener, look into the H&R Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron (1″ inch). For $169.95, or if it still on sale for $95.95, you can have this amazing product. The Thermal Shine spray is priced at $18.99 and the flat iron stand is only $14.99.

    This looks like a good combination of product and iron. Your hair looks lovely.

    Your hair looks great! I really like the idea of a swiveling cord, as I tend to get tied up in mine. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade…

    Great review, looks like a great flat-iron. I’ve learned my lesson not to use cheap flat iron, it made my hair brittle and got lots of split ends, but since my hair is really wavy have to tame it with flat iron especially when I have meetings. Will definitely check H&R flat iron, thanks!
