Hotel Breakers Is The Place To Stay When You Play At Cedar Point!

It’s officially here, the summer season! There are so many things the kids have planned, I sure hope I can keep up. The sun is shining, it looks like the 50 degree weather is gone for good, and Northeast Ohio is ready. One of the time honored traditions of being a kid in Ohio, is heading up to Cedar Point for a day, weekend, or multiple times in a summer. I have been extremely lucky to be this close to the Roller Coaster Capital of the World!

However, since living decently close, we never stayed on grounds before or after a stay. Now, as an adult, I can’t imagine why not. Hotel Breakers should be a visit in itself. After an expansive two year refurbishment, it was officially opened earlier this month to guests.

Hotel View
The first thing I absolutely love about the hotel, is it is literally just steps away from the park. Just look at the view from our room! Everything in the hotel is brand new, and it shows (and smells that way too)! Just walking the halls, we could still smell that new carpet smell. Each room has been completely updated and modernized. The kids loved the bright and bold headboards attached to the beds.

Fun Headboard
It was the little details that sold me on the rooms. I LOVED how many outlets there were. We are an electronic family and it was nice to have a charging space for each item! Also, they had bright red, fun chairs at the desk. A fun fact I learned was that the chairs were recycled out of old Coke bottles! Each room also has its own compact refrigerator and microwave. I even liked the Bath and Body Works branded soap and hair products in the bathroom. Funny story from my stay, for about 5 minutes, I thought our bathroom didn’t have toilet paper. So when you go, make sure you check out under the sink counter. It’s mounted up under there! So much easier with toilet paper 🙂

Hotel Breakers
The lobbies are modern, yet whimsical and have great furniture and decorations. The kids loved looking at all the bright colored photography throughout the lobbies and upstairs. The newly designed rotunda heading out on to the beachfront is gorgeous. Momma enjoyed the newly added Starbucks, and Daddy liked the Surf Lounge.

Our Hotel Breakers stay was amazing and we will be back later this summer. We were there before Memorial Day and the outdoor pools hadn’t opened yet and it was still a bit chilly to jump in the lake. I forgot to mention one of the other biggest perks of staying in a Cedar Point property, you get to enter the park and hour ahead of time and ride some of the biggest and most popular rides before the general public can get in! Also, if you hadn’t purchased your park tickets yet, do so at the front desk at a considerable discount!

Are you close enough to make a trip to Cedar Point? Maybe we’ll see you there!
