Hershey Kiss Treats

By: Amanda4 Comments

Who does not love a bite of chocolate? G*rated posted this on their blog for Valentine’s Day a couple years ago and I really think it’s great! This is a fun treat for get togethers and holidays, or really any occasion that calls for chocolate. Plus the kids can really help with this one!

Hershey Kiss Treats
Author: Megan
Ingredients
  • Parchment paper or foil
  • 1 bag of pretzels, any kind just not sticks
  • 1 bag Hershey Kisses, any kind you like, unwrapped
  • 1 bag plain M&M’s
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Unwrap all your Hershey kisses (I found this to be the most time consuming step).
  4. Lay out pretzels in a single layer, these treats don’t spread out so you can butt them up against each other.
  5. Top each pretzel with a Hershey Kiss.
  6. Bake for 3-5 minutes, until kiss looks shiny and soft. Remove from oven.
  7. I laid the cookie sheet right on top of my stove and topped immediately with an M&M while they were still hot.
  8. Let cool completely before you remove from sheet and enjoy!
Notes
Since I discovered this recipe I have used it several times for different occasions. I made this batch for a bumble bee themed baby shower. I used the Hershey Hugs instead of the Kisses because I thought it went better with the shower theme. And I only used the yellow and brown M&M’s. But I would think there would be endless possibilities! How about a pretzel topped with a caramel kiss and a pecan? Or a peppermint kiss with a red or green M&M? Or a dark chocolate kiss with a coconut M&M? Or a regular kiss topped with a peanut butter M&M’s? I could do this all day!!

I like you that you used these for a baby shower. I have one to plan in a week and these look really easy to do.

These turned out really cute! I have made them before with regular hershey kisses but never the striped ones.
