We celebrated Mother’s Day over this past weekend with my husband’s family and extended family from out of town. It’s always a bittersweet holiday for me since I lost my mom a few years ago but the kids look forward to seeing their grandparents when they can. It was a fun day and the kids gave grandma her gift, a Grandmother’s Journal, so she could write her memories for the grandkids.
I’m so glad the kids had an opportunity to give grandma a journal to write in. She said her and grandpa were just talking about writing down some memories from their childhood in Mississippi.
