My mother in law loves to cook and I am very fortunate. I, on the other hand, do not. Since I had Calvin in 2009 my desire to be in the kitchen has dwindled and my husband does most of the cooking. How does this fit into an iPad case review? Well look above. My mother in law also happens to own an iPad so she’s in the kitchen looking at recipes most of the time. She was able to test the Durafolio in black/red and enjoyed being able to prop up the iPad to see recipes. Being in the kitchen a lot with the grand kids means messes and sticky fingers so a screen protector is a must.
It also fits easily into her purse and doesn’t take a lot of room. They travel often and need all of the luggage space they can get since they own their airplane and weight can be an issue. It is also well protected and the cover is unlikely to come open.
The cover an also be folded flat to take pictures with the iPad. Sometimes cases have to be taken off for you to grip it right or it covers the lens. It’s a very sturdy case and has protected the iPad from drops and falls (thanks to the grand kids).
The Speck DuraFolio is convenient, military grade-protection that is available for iPad Air for $69.95 and iPad mini for $59.95 in five colors at Target and Amazon.
