It is getting cold outside and this means I am looking for new ideas to help engage my very active two-year old. As a parent I am always looking for activities that engage my sons creativity and cognitive skills. I also look for products that have multiple activities that we can do, that way we do not get bored doing just one activity. I have found Green Kid Crafts and they have checked all boxes off my wish list.

Green Kid Crafts is a monthly subscription box contains 5-8 unique and engaging activity kits that are specially designed to foster a child’s creativity and confidence. Green Kid Crafts is a mom owned green company that was founded by a mother of two children.

We received The Discovery Box which included activities to build a volcano, make crystals, paint, and dig for gems. I am not very artsy so I decided to face my fears and start with painting. We used a marble and splattered paint into the box, then we rotated the marble inside the box to make an Eruption Abstract Art Piece inspired by Jackson Pollock.

The art was so easy to create and my son had a blast rolling the marble in the paint, he also grabbed the paint brush and started painting. He had so much fun and he kept asking me if we could paint with marbles again and again.

I loved how easy the Green Kid Crafts box was to understand and that I was able to do something different and creative with my little one. The best part? Not going to a craft store, looking online, or leaving my house to find and activity for us to do. The subscription box gets delivered to my door and all we have to do is open and start having fun!

The subscriptions are available monthly, 3 months, 6 months, and a 12 month duration. If you have multiples they have sibling boxes available too. Order your kits on the Green Kid Crafts website and follow along on Pinterest, Facebook , Twitter, and Instagram.
