Get Rid Of Bacteria When You Walk Through The Door With Dr. Doormat – Holiday Gift Guide 2013

Did you know how much bacteria and other things you may bring into your home on the bottom of your shoes? If you’re the kind of person like I am I tend to not take my shoes off when I first enter the front door. I changed my mind after I read some information from Dr. Doormat. I am so glad to have two of these mats. One is at my front door and one is at the back. I am excited to share my experience with these for you guys to enjoy. These mats are awesome! They do not slide around on bare floor and carpet. They are pleasing to the eyes and very stylish no matter where you put it in or outside of your house. Below are some amazing facts gathered from Dr. Doormat’s website to show how effective these are!

The antimicrobial treatment is like a microscopic layer of swords and spikes acting as a barrier upon the surface of the entire doormat. Microbes are negatively charged individual single cell living organisms. The treated surface of Dr. Doormat’s is positively charged pulling the negatively charged microbe down upon its sword like a magnet, piercing the cell membrane and disabling the invading odor causing microorganism on contact.

Imagine all the bacteria that can gather on your common household mat. That bacteria eventually quadruples and then you have to go out and buy a new mat because it’s not only filthy but it’s filled with bacteria. Yuck! After watching the video on their site and looking at the photos of bacteria growth on a regular mat compared to theirs I was convinced I had to have a couple for my house. For the safety of my daughter, my family and my dogs. I also am big on eco-friendly products which not only helps the planet but it is also very good for my family and household as well. Oh, I didn’t tell you? Dr. Doormat’s mats are eco-friendly! How’s that for fighting bacteria and being green all at the same time?

In the photo on the left is the mat at my front door. It’s the perfect size and it’s just below the door so it doesn’t snag and pull. The right photo is at my back door where my laundry room is. My dogs also go outside to go to the bathroom out this door so when they come back in who knows what they’re tagging along under their paws! I feel much safer having these mats in the house to wipe our feet and paws on. I cannot guarantee it actually traps bacteria although I can tell you they still look the same since I received them almost two and a half weeks ago. I have even vacuumed them and they look the same.
