Fun Each Month With Gramma In A Box

By: Tiffany S.7 Comments

I received product/compensation in exchange for this post, all views, and opinions expressed here reflect those of my own.

One of our favorite activities during our stay at home time has been to bake. Our oldest is 11 and has liked experimenting with different recipes, and finding new baked goods to create. We’re also extremely lucky to live near my parents, and the kids love getting to bake with their grandmother. However, I know that isn’t a luxury that many families have. If the latter is the case for you, I have a subscription box service I would like to introduce you to!

Introducing… Gramma in a Box! Now, you may be thinking, how can one fit all of that gramma goodness in one little box? Well, let me explain ๐Ÿ˜‰ Gramma in a box was created for anyone really. If there isn’t a gramma nearby to bake with, or if gramma is coming to visit, pull this out for a fun activity. These could even be sent to a college student living away from home that would appreciate some baked goods wrapped in a little extra love. The possibilities are truly endless.

We received the July box, which was 4th of July themed!

Upon first opening this box, I knew we were already going to love it. Everything was neatly organized, easy to find/see and there were individual instructions for each project. Yes, in each box, you will have multiple ways to create with cookies, candies and desserts ๐Ÿ™‚ This month there were cut out cookies to be decorated, pretzels to dip in chocolate and decorate and crispy treats.

The things we loved:

  1. The individual packaging of it all. Everything was sealed for freshness and so well organized. If you can’t get to each project on the first day, I truly believe it will keep for the next day.
  2. The theming. Each month will have different components. Different cutout shapes, specific holiday themes and something new and different. I also love on the Gramma in a Box website (and socials) you get a sneak peek of the upcoming month. Peek at the cuteness of August (but order by Aug. 3rd to guarantee!)
  3. The step by step instruction sheets. Each project had its own sheet. If you have multiple kids, this definitely helps with sharing!
  4. The perfect amount of product. If you aren’t a regular baker, and the mood strikes you to bake, you may not have all the ingredients you need handy. With these boxes, everything you need comes in the box! Sprinkles, melting chocolate, baked cutout.
  5. The subscription options. You can purchase one month to try it out, up to a whole year. You can even pause a month if you’ll be away or know you’ll be too busy.
  6. The personalization. Each box is truly unique and the love that goes into them shows. From the sticker seal upon opening, to how carefully everything is packaged.

Our kids are aged 11,9 and 4 1/2. Each of them loved this activity. They each had something they could do, had enough to snack on and all got to be creative in their own way. The only downside? Not getting pictures quick enough before the crispy treats were eaten ๐Ÿ˜‰ Truly a fun experience as a family and a fun gift for those you love.

Check out Gramma in a Box on Instagram and Facebook, to see the upcoming boxes.

Which treats would you like to see come straight to your mailbox?!

I love this idea. My kids love to help me bake, and this would be perfect for when I needed some extra time and wanted to do it quick.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Your kids are the perfect age for my box. Please let your followers know that if they subscribe to the auto debit option they can get their first box for $10 and the following months will be debited at $20 a month. Cancel any time. Considering the box has everything you need to make up to 20 yummy treats, thatโ€™s a bargain. I always say the box is $20, but the memories are free. Gramma Terry
