funbites

cuttingutensilsKids love to eat food that is fun looking. Why not make their food into cute little shapes that are bite sized and easier for them to eat? Fun Bites has cute cutters designed to cut different shapes out of your child’s foods. It may just help them eat their food if they’re picky eaters! I received four cutters, three different shapes. The green one has little squares (my favorite), another has triangle parts and the third has hearts and triangles. I tried these on peanut butter sandwiches, tuna sandwiches and some fruit. They work! They’re also curved on the bottom so you can rock them back and forth to get a good cut all the way through and the removable section you can push back in to make the pieces you cut fall out of the cutter easier.

sandwichAs you can see above I cut my little one’s tuna melt sandwich into squares. It did squish out the sides pretty good when I went to cut it but the pieces came out clean from the cutter. I do suggest pushing down a little more on the Fun Bites cutter as it does not slice the bottom part of the sandwich that well without enough pressure. My daughter absolutely loved the little bite sized pieces and she ate the entire sandwich. I was surprised! She normally doesn’t eat all of her dinner but this time she ate it all. Maybe it’s my amazing cooking. Hah.

Cutting the fruit was not as difficult, however it didn’t cut all the way through. I simply pushed down a little harder and peeled the pieces apart if necessary. The pieces look so cute on the plate! I love the shapes they make and if you’re artistic you can put together so many different images for your little one. I’m not that artistic but I thought the above photo was adorable. My daughter ate all of the fruit which is a good thing!

You can use Fun Bites to cut any kind of food really. They even suggest cheese, pancakes, brownies and more! I have not tried it on those yet but with what I have used it on I’m sure these Fun Bites cutters will work on just about any type of food you can cut shapes into. Plus it may help your child enjoy eating their food instead of leaving the food on their plate.

Fun Bites are priced at $12.99 and you can pick from four colors!
