Mozzarella Sticks, Jalapenos, and Philly Cheese Steaks
My husband often gets home late from work and is hungry starving. His meal schedule does not work well with the rest of the family. He usually eats lunch around two, which is technically his dinner also. Most days he likes to eat a snack when he gets home around 10 pm so we were happy to try Farm Rich appetizers while he relaxed and watched TV!
We tried several varieties of Farm Rich including Mozzarella Sticks, Jalapeño Peppers and Philly Cheese Steaks. We loaded all of them on a plate and started snacking away while we were watching our late night shows. You know vital mom and dad time!
The Mozzarella Sticks were good. We baked them in the oven as directed and used some left over spaghetti sauce for a dip. They were quite cheesy and the breading was not too thick. I would recommend frying them since that’s really the only way to eat mozzarella sticks! However, we don’t have a fryer and didn’t feel like dumping oil into a pan!
I am not usually a Jalapeno Pepper fan since the cream cheese ratio has to be just right. Yep, I’m weird like that! I got these solely for my husband who loves them. These peppers were quite big and from what I could tell had a lot of cream cheese filling. My dear husband scarfed these down in about five minutes so they must have been good!
We also enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steaks. They were actually quite flavorful and I liked the crust. I don’t think I was expecting much in terms of flavor and was pleasantly surprised. I also want to note that all of the bags had an easy fold over sticker so you could keep the food from obtaining freezer burn. I often find that some of the resealable bags frozen items come in just don’t stay sealed.
