Updating and beautifying one’s home is a treasured pastime. Or do you see it as a headache? Many people have their dream home Pinterest boards (guilty) of fantastic ideas and updates to be done. Then, after researching and pricing may realize that beautifying may not be in the budget at the moment. If you’re like me, you still want a few touches to make a home feel refreshed or updated, without breaking the bank. I’ve changed out throw pillows, or an area rug and even a fresh coat of paint in the past. This time as I have gotten the redecorating itch however, I went with a more practical and whimsical touch.
I have seen wall decals around, but have never had real first-hand experience with them. My experience is the child friendly themed small decals, or the big sports ones for walls. I didn’t realize that there were modern and creative decals out there until I was introduced to Evgie Wall Decals. You see, I have this great dining room wall. When we first moved in, I had the idea of an eclectic (read, not matching) multiple frame collage of family photos. It since has turned into a hodge podge of portraits. Do I love seeing the photos displayed? Yes. But it’s just off.

The Family Tree Picture Wall Decal is just what I need to help reign in my vision, and keep it looking clean and organized. The Family Tree is wall size 156″w x 90″h and yet is removable. They offer it in black or even brown, with olive and lime leaves. I am so excited for my after photo.
I’ve loved flipping through the Evgie catalog. Each new set of decals I come across I fall in love with. Some of the children’s set are colorful and whimsical. You can find decals in many different themes. And if you find a theme you love, but the color scheme doesn’t work in your home, they’ll do custom pieces to match. Plus, they are affordable. You can change a whole look of a room for under $100!

(Evgie Wall Decals Has Any Room Covered!) I do like how that tree wall looks with all of the picture frames on it. I would love to do this in my up-stairs hallway someday. It would look so awesome.
